Philippi overview

Philippi was an important city in a historic location for the Roman Empire. Paul visited the city on at least two of his missionary journeys and wrote a letter to the believers there late in his life. Philippians serves as a grateful thank-you note from Paul and a great word of encouragement to believers today.
