11 Elijah Elisha to Jezreel

Elijah and Elisha confronted King Ahab after a scandalous event concerning a vineyard belonging to a man named Naboth. Ahab coveted the vineyard, which was in or near the city of Jezreel. Ahab’s wife Jezebel arranged for Naboth to be murdered and then urged Ahab to seize the property. Elijah and Elisha came to Jezreel, confronted the king and announced that Jezebel would be devoured by dogs. In time, her body was eaten by dogs in the very city.
