Paul traveled thousands of miles in his “missionary journeys,” many of them by sea. Paul sailed these waters when traveling to Philippi from Troas, and from Thessalonica to Athens. On the last journey recorded in Acts, Paul and his companions suffered a shipwreck in the nearby Mediterranean.
