Nazareth to Ein Kerem

When she first learned of God's special call on her life, Mary immediately went to Elizabeth's home in Ein Kerem. Elizabeth and Zechariah were well along in a miraculous pregnancy themselves. The journey probably took Mary the better part of a week. After three months with Elizabeth — and probably after baby John was born — Mary returned home to Nazareth.
