People traveled from great distances to see Jesus

In summary statements, the Gospel writers tell us that people traveled from Idumea, Judea, Jerusalem, the Decapolis, and Tyre and Sidon. This video will help you illustrate for your audience how far people were willing to travel just to hear Jesus teach, or to witness a miracle.

Remember that people walked on these journeys, often for several days. They also did not know exactly where Jesus was. He, too, was traveling. That means a person setting out to see Jesus might have been gone for weeks.
