Cave entrance region of Adullam

There are multiple caves in the region of Adullam, and it may prove impossible to determine where David hid from Saul and the Philistines. This video clip combines footage from three caves in the region. Obviously, David felt safe in a cave. Just as clearly, he didn’t want to live the rest of his life in a dark, damp environment. Thankfully, 400 men came to David (1 Samuel 22:1-2), surrounded him with encouragement and helped him become the greatest king in Israel’s history. David also made some personal decisions during this season of life that proved foundational to his faith and success. He wrote about those decisions in Psalm 34.
