Second Missionary Journey 03 Philippi to Thessalonica

After leaving Philippi, Paul and his team traveled to Thessalonica ("Thessaloniki" today). Once again, they shared their message to Jewish and Gentile audiences. Opposition quickly arose in Thessalonica, meaning Paul only stayed in the city for "three Sabbaths." Today the city is quite large, with a population of more than 1 million and an active seaport. The city is named after the sister of Alexander the Great.
