Middle East to Philippi via Neapolis

Philippi was an important city in a historic location for the Roman Empire. Paul visited the city on at least two of his missionary journeys and wrote a letter to the believers there late in his life. Philippians serves as a grateful thank-you note from Paul and a great word of encouragement to believers today. This video shows the route of seafarers as they arrive in Kavala (ancient Neapolis) and then journey through a valley into the plains of Philippi and the ruins of the city where Paul and Silas were once unfairly arrested, beaten, and jailed.
