10 Elijah to Elisha Jordan River Valley

Elijah left Mt. Sinai (Horeb), crossed the rugged Sinai Peninsula, made his way back to Judea and up the Jordan River Valley until he reached the home of Elisha. This video shows the potential location of Abel-meholah, the birthplace of Elisha. The sandy mound (tel) has been partially excavated. If it’s not the exact location of the community where Elisha lived, it’s close. Like Elijah, Elisha would spend much of his ministry in the Jordan River Valley and the Jezreel Valley.
